Knowing what I know about Arlen Studios & the quality of which he's capable, I can only express disappointment with The Egg. This rating & commentary is not about the effect or recommended handling which are both very good, but NOT for beginners. The prop is... good & bad. Good because it does what it is supposed to do. Bad because it doesn't look anything like the picture advertising it, & it has a BIG chunk of the substance used to make it at one end. The one I received appears as if it should have been thrown away because of defects, but was patched up with scrap material.
If the egg looked like the picture & was manufactured without the big chunk at the end, this would be a 5 star rating.
