The “Old Sucker Game” with new, surprising twists! Four cards—one an Ace—are shown, turned face down and a spectator tries to paper-clip the Ace—but fails! One odd card is discarded but again the spectator can't clip the Ace! Finally the cards are fanned out wide and the spectator clips the back of a card. The other two cards are shown so now he’s sure he’s clipped the Ace. The clipped card is shown but the ACE HAS VANISHED! The card laid aside is turned up—it's the missing Ace!

Overview

The ad copy tells it all:

You spread 4 cards and the spectator misses every time and then at the end the target card (the red Ace) disappears from your hand where it was just seen and appears on the table where a black card was discarded!

It's a quickie and its fun and for $10 bucks its worth it if you like monte effects.

Effect

Its an in hand monte effect in which the spectator tries to identify the one red card by putting a paperclip on the red Ace, but he keeps missing. In the end, the card disappears as stated above.

Method

The method is heavily reliant on using gaffed cards and you remembering special steps and orientation of cards and their indexes.

Product Quality

The cards are Hoyle cards and not Bikes, but that is a-o-k. Bikes are preferable for sure, but the cards are a fine quality and the written instructions in a 2 page pamphlet are ok. I found them to be a tiny bit confusing, but figured it out quickly.

Ad Copy Integrity

True and fair and nothing to complain about.
