In Action Volume 3 by Gregory Wilson and L & L Publishing (now Murphy’s Magic) is another in a series of interesting and quirky impromptu magic performances by the incomparable Gregory Wilson. Although these volumes were filmed in VHS and digitally transferred to DVDs and downloads, the quality is excellent considering the time they were filmed.Effect
No less than 10 different presentations are offered on this volume that range from card magic to using unusual props. Bear in mind that Gregory Wilson has a unique persona and these presentations are finely honed down to match his personality. Very tight scripting, body movements and what would be the hardest to replicate, his off the cuff and glib speaking style reminiscent of a street hustler is what makes these particular routines as good as they are.Method
The methods taught on these DVD range from sleight of hand to using props that you would either have to make or purchase. At least one effect (The Slot Machine Scam) is not relevant because modern day slot machines do not operate the same as they did years ago. Another effect (Foreign Affair) will require you to build a gimmick that would be too expensive for what it is worth. And yet others require you to purchase items (such as Bounce No Bounce) to perform it. Still others require minor props such as casino cut cards and poker chips.Product Quality
The In Action DVD series are filmed on location in the Lake Tahoe area. The tricks are performed impromptu (as best as that can be with cameras around) and are a perfect example of to make more out of a simple trick by engaging the spectators and interjecting casual banter. Gregory Wilson’s style is on display for all to watch and possibly absorb. The live performances are quick but the explanations are well paced. Keep in mind, the card tricks performed is performed by a sleight of hand master and if these are ones you would like to do, a lot of practice will be needed to make it look natural.Ad Copy Integrity

This is the third installment of Gregory Wilson's In Action! series and it shows Wilson out and about doing tricks with cards, money, casino hips, balls, rings and even a trick with a slot machine.Wilson teaches some wonderful sleight of hand that is within anyone's reach.

He has such a quick wit and nice way with his spectator's that makes his spectator's comfortable to be a volunteer. He uses humor to disarm and does it better than anyone out there.Method
