This effect is good if you can "sell" it. I carry one with me everywhere I go. I also use it in my Bizarre spookshow magic act during the Halloween holiday. It's a good effect for kids magic shows too. A great piece for story magic.

It's amazing how a simple illusion can have such deep impact.

With kids and grown-ups I start the illusion by saying "300 years ago my Uncle Harry and I made this key...".
That gets them interested and wondering "300 years ago? Is that what she said?"

And then the magic happens. But unlike other 'self working tricks' this one really tests the Magician.
You must 'sell the effect'. It's really a show.

Once you perform this, you will know whether you are just a trickster or a real Magician creating the Magic for your guests.

This one is a must for any close up magician.

If you perform his effect in the right time in your act it is so strong!! I carry it around my neck all the time on my key chain. Obviously practice is needed to make it look crazy but its well worth it. This simple trick can go a long way.... I love it....
