One effect in magic may have dozens or more methods, and variations. The search for the 'best' anything, even if found-can be put aside temporarily, because of the NEWEST 'best' method. I love when I find an effect whose plot, method, and presentation give me every reason to LOOK NO FURTHER. Aces in their Faces is such an effect for me. Before the customary assembly, there is the sudden and EFFORTLESS appearence of face up aces in the otherwise face down deck-just gorgeous! Kohler's routining, truly gives a sense of free choice on the spectators part, again, very smooth. Perhaps the only other version of the ace assembly which left strong impressions on me, was Final Aces by Bro. John Hamman. That routine has repetitive phases ( for anyone unfamiliar), making each assembly seem more and more impossible. It's an older routine, which I want to learn-but, Aces in their Faces is quicker and it's the one that I carry with me much of the time. I'll also say, that it's so easy to perform, I almost feel guilty!

I'm not a big card man (skill level) but this trick is great and easy. Just follow the directions a couple of times with the cards in hand and you have a mini master piece.

The directions are very clear and for someone new it's like having a lesson too.

I think it only comes with a DVD now. You'd have to call around for just the trick.

One of the best gimmicked card tricks out there! Absolute killer! You can use your own deck and they never see it coming. If you had to own only 5 card tricks, this would be one of them. Bob, you are a genius!

I love this trick. It is so easy to use just like the directions say. The deck can be spread out showing all the backs or fronts. The handling allows you to present the deck - which is real - in a manner which doesn't add suspicion to it where the spectator would want to see it or handle it. The design really lets you concentrate on presentation. The supplied gimmicks allow you to use your own bicycle deck. The trick allows you to fan the deck and find your favorite card- the ace of spades- and turn it face up against the backs of the cards. Snap the deck and the other three aces also turn face up. Now put each ace down with three cards on top of each. The spectator picks a number between 1 and 4 and all the aces jump to this pile. The rest of the pile card are shown to be different cards. It actually blows people away and requires no sleights at all. This is a must have.
