This effect has been around for decades. That it has been tweaked and re-marketed, says much about it's impact, and novel traits. This version takes the original a bit further by having a foot missing from the main effigy card.
Undoubtedly this adds a bit more visual surprise, than the original-which was creepy enough to begin with. Voodoo appears in one of two Lewis Ganson books,
The Art of Closeup Magic. If you have 18 dollars to buy this trick with-lay out a few more for the Ganson book-and if you get one, you'll want the other-and you'll find Voodoo, plus a treasure chest of classic close up magic. If you are an artist, or know one, you can make this trick up yourself on blank Bicycle cards, as I did. I totally recommend the trick. I just suggest spending money more wisely, by referring to Voodoo in a book that has so very much to offer.
