The spectator is then asked to merely think of a card (any card, total free choice), one card and one card only appears in the magicians wallet, which has been on the table from the start of the trick, and yes it will be the thought-of card.
It's that simple. It's that direct. It's that in-your-face! And only Wayne Dobson could have thought of it! This mind-blowing piece of magic comes complete with special deck, leather wallet, specialty cards, and detailed instructions!

Devastation is a wonderful creation by Wayne Dobson who also has produced great items like Smash and Stab which is one of my favourite tricks of the year!
Devastation is certainly a mind-blowing piece of magic if not a little weird. Weird ??? I hear you say.
Well you show the audience a blank pack of cards both sides, even letting them examine the odd one. Then you ask them to think of a card, you go through the pack trying to find the choosen card (but they are of course blank) pick one out and place it in a wallet!
You then place the rest of the pack back in the box, open the wallet again to show the card that you just placed inside.
And you tell them that "this is your card" you take it out and there is a (double) joke which I won't reveal here! But it REALLY gets a laugh! You then ask again what the card was, you reach inside the inner most pocket of the wallet and pull out their chosen card.
So why do I say weird? Well my logic is: Why do you have to place it in a wallet? Close it only to open it again a few seconds later.
The answer is you have to, to make the trick work. But you would have thought that the audience would be suspicious, Well, I've tried it and the answer is that they are not! Weird or what?
The effect is so powerful that they seem to forget that you did something unnecessary.
This is a really good trick. It really is mind-blowing, and it's easy to do and resets in seconds. If you have $35 to spare then get this and blow their socks off!
