Having great fondness for boxes-and matchbox tricks, I looked forward to owning this trick. I use it along with a few other matchbox effects which I re-gaffed so that all the boxes look alike. The boxes this comes with, are the first new tweak to this old trick-they show an asian boy, and girl-this justifying the interaction of the boxes. There is more openness to this version than in the past-which definitely enhances the illusion. The boxes may also be handed out at the finish-although the trick is so darned clean people don't always ask-so why offer?! This is a fine pocket trick, an improvement to the old method. I thought it was a bit overpriced-and I only have one gripe about the gimmick. It is MOSTLY invisible when glided into the fingers at finish. The ONE characteristic I would adjust, is making the gimmick more opaque, i.e., DULL. It can reflect flashes of light, and small and clear as it is, it can be seen as a guilty sparkle in your supposedly empty hand. The solution I found was to sand it, the way one sands plexiglass, to dumb down the gloss-but still keep it clear. Another option is invisible scotch tape. With all of the available plastics around, I wish the manufacturer had used a matte finish one. It's a small, but ultimately critical detail.
