"I have been searching for the perfect gimmick like this for years. This now gives me the ability to take my Liquid Metal routine to the next level"
- MORGAN STREBLER

TORQUE is a custom engineered device that will take your fork bending routine further than ever before.
With Chris Stevenson's ground-breaking gimmick you can add impossible bends to the fork during your existing routine.

The Scorpion Bend: The handle of the fork can be bent up at an extreme angle. The audience members will not be able to bend it back even though moments before they saw it perfectly straight prior to it melting like butter at your fingertips.

The Tine Twist: This twist is the final nail in the coffin for your spectators! Even though they witness you twisting the tine in plain view the results are not comprehendible. You can twist it once or even go for the double.

The Tine Bend: Don't just twist it, bend it! The TORQUE gimmick is utilized and then vanishes from your hands meaning that spectators have no idea that you are using anything other than your own mind.

This is the perfect companion to Liquid Metal and the Liquid Forks.

This is not just for bending, this is fork destruction!

When I first got into magic/mentalism, the first lecture I ever attended was given by Alain Nu. At the end of the lecture he showed the crowd his metal bending skills. I had never seen anything like that before and his performance left an indelible impression on me. To see a metal bending routine live is pretty much an unforgettable experience. The performer's skill is not only based on creating an experience for the spectator but to be able to make the bending seem like a supernatural occurrence. Like a ballet, fluidity in movement is essential for it to look real. Since that lecture many years ago, many performers have developed their own unique take on the mental bending presentation. In fact, a new market was developed to provide special coins, keys, nails, spoons, forks and devices to the neophyte metal bender.

Torque by Chris Stevenson is a utility device which will allow you to expand upon the Liquid Metal routine of Morgan Strebler's. This devise was developed to create new twists and turns previously not possible with the standard Liquid Metal routine. As a utility device it appears to be very well made and the instructional video covers all the moves necessary to use the device. The video starts of with three real world performances using Torque and then a sit down explanation with David Penn on the various moves and bends the device is capable of. The video itself is fairly thorough and in the presentation there is justification for carrying your own forks.

To those interested in purchasing Torque, I must forewarn you that the original Liquid Metal routine is not taught and that would be a separate investment in that routine alone. In addition, this device was specifically designed to work with the special Liquid Forks (soft metal) sold by World Magic exclusively. Nowhere on the video does it say to be used with ordinary household and restaurant forks. If you do so, I'm sure it will be at your own risk. If you are willing to invest in the Liquid Metal routine, plus Torque plus purchase Liquid Forks this can ultimately be a memorable performance piece.
