Gaff Caps
The Blue Crown
(Based on 1 review)
Gaff Caps, from the mind of designer Jared Hansen, allows you to perform astonishing effects that feel totally natural and improvised. After your spectator selects and memorizes a card, you grab a bottle cap from the bar and ALTER the logo to reveal the selection! This feels spontaneous & organic, and leaves a lasting impression.
On the DVD, Magick Balay performs several effects for real audiences, then takes you back to the studio to show you how to get the maximum impact from your caps. The project includes 12 bottle caps that have been specially designed and custom-printed for this project. Mimicking popular brands of beer and soda, these caps give you an arsenal of great reveals that you can put to use at any point in your routine!

PROS
The idea is clever, but I think there are some serious limitations you should consider.
CONS
The gaff caps do not come like a regular cap would look. These are caps that haven’t been formed around a bottle, so they are flared out. You will need to somehow press them around a bottle so they take the proper shape. I didn’t see any of this explained on the DVD.
While it comes with a dozen gaff caps, people are going to keep them, or you are likely to lose them eventually. I think you would be better off doing a revelation with a card scratched or cut into the top of a regular cap. If you are interested in doing such a reveal, then I suggest you purchase this to get some good pointers and then modify the method to your taste.
VERDICT
Interesting concept, but perhaps too many limitations.
