uTurn is a very involved borrowed ring penetration through multiple layers of closed rubber bands. The beauty of it is that your spectator can hold their borrowed ring their entire time as the ring slowly shifts all the way up and down the ladder of bands.

In an unexpected twisted ending, the ring completely jumps off of the bands while the bands are still fully intact. All while your spectator is still holding their ring. No props, or gimmicks. Just their ring, your bands and a fantastic memory for your audience.

Marcus Eddie has got to be the nicest magician in the world. He comes off as such a good guy with some crazy good ideas.

This is variation of Marcus' effect Stairway which is based on Dan Harlan's travelling cash. The effect is very similar to that of Stairway in that the ring travels down a small ladder made of rubber-bands, in the same way that a dollar would.

The differences here is that with a ring of course there is no way for it to un-link from the rubber-bands. The movements are a bit different as well because the ring goes down the ladder in sections of 2 rather than 1 by 1 like in Stairway. At the end with the ring you can have the spectator put the ring on and the rubber-band pops off of their ring.

I like this trick, it is doable and it's not incredibly difficult once you memorize the moves and get used to the set up. I'm not crazy for the final move that Marcus teaches involving the spectators finger but I do like everything else for the most part. If you like rubber band magic you should probably own a a trick like this.
