iLogo

Nothing is stronger than visual magic with a borrowed object.
Craig Squires has created an effect that is totally visual, totally weird and bang up to date!
is the incredibly visual, yet simple to perform, eye-popping effect everyone is talking about.
Imagine taking your spectators iPhone 4/4s and sliding the logo right to the other end of the phone. They clearly see the space where the logo used to be ( they can even touch it, it's really not there ). After your spectators have picked their jaws back off the floor, you slide the logo back and hand them back the phone.
Craig's iLoGo concept is ingenious, is easy to perform and looks like real magic!
Use it as part of a street magic set, part of a card trick or to freak someone out on the fly.

For $44.50 you get a well made gimmick, a well produced DVD, and a handful of effects done with a borrowed iPhone 4 that'll blow people's minds.
Remember folks, whether I "like" an effect or not is mostly irrelevant. I try not to let that bias me. The review is all about whether or not the effect will work the way the ad copy claims. Then it's up to you to watch the effect (or read it) and decide if you like it enough to do it.
This is one of those rare cases where I'm going to guess that just about everyone will like this effect. It only works with iPhone 4 which comes in black and white, so when you order your gimmick, make sure to specify what color you want. My recommendation is to get the black one because my experience is that most people have the black iPhone . . . and this is definitely one that you'll want to do with a borrowed phone.
The trailer and the ad copy are 100% accurate. The effect is beautiful and looks like real magic. Rather than review each effect (as I often do), I figured I'd give you the overall view and some brief commentary on some of the effects.
Basically, you can cause the Apple logo to vanish from the back of someone's iPhone 4; you can cause it to move to another part of the phone; you can it jump from the spectator's phone to the back of your phone (so you end up with two logos on your phone). You can have the logo jump to a signed playing card and back to the borrowed iPhone.
All of the above effects are beautiful and look like real magic. There's also the production of a real apple that was "ok." I personally felt it took away from the effect, but to each his own.
There was a bonus section where Greg Wilson had some cool additions as well. The only complaint I have, really, is that one of the effects wasn't quite explained well enough. There's an effect where the logo is wiped off the phone with a handkerchief and a smudge appears on the handkerchief. It was really pretty, but they didn't explain how to get the smudge on there. I have several ideas on how I would do it, but they should have been more thorough.
The overall production quality was excellent (i.e., lighting, sound, camera work, etc.). The teaching was pretty solid (though rushed in a few places). All in all . . . this is a must have, pick up this effect and perform iLoGo at your next gala.
