Thank you, Dan Harlan, for fooling the sh!t out of me, over and over, with something I know. In fact, I knew exactly what feke you were using while I was watching the performances and still couldn't grok what was going on.

I want to start this review with the packaging. I rarely talk about packaging because, well, it's rarely worth mentioning. Dan spent a portion of his life as a graphic designer and it shows. The design, as with the title, is witty and visually appealing. Plus everything (DVD and feke) are in a single-DVD cardboard sleeve. No big, bulky plastic thing to have to store. Again, thank you Dan.

While Dan could have followed the current trend in DVDs and just given us one main application and a couple of extras, you'll find 10 full effects using this principle. Yes, there's some commonality between some of them, but they're all well-thought-out and explained in detail.

And the performances aren't some highly-edited "street magic" scene shot with an iPhone. They're of Dan working a real gig, with real people and only enough editing and production to make everything clear to the viewer.

One last thing: if you're considering getting this product and are worried about your skill level not being up to par, don't sweat it. The R/B double-backer does most of the work for you.
