Well, y'know sometimes it's easy to review an item that's absolute garbage. The problem is, this item ISN'T absolute garbage.......it's a FANTASTIC premise, just poorly delivered. My dealer got 1 of these in and found it non-working, then got another 1 in and found IT to be non-working; he then ordered another one, which he TESTED before sending it to me and when it arrived....it was NON-WORKING! Luckily for me, I've messed around with electronics, so I took mine apart. I discovered the batteries to be OK, but the push buttons/sensors are very low quality. I certainly have no intention of "tipping" anything here, but if you've watched the demo video, you've readily deduced that it's a device that makes 2 sounds.....so it's important that those sounds are good and the device works.

Well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad, I suppose! I didn't appreciate that in the videos, you get the HI-FI sample of the sound, but (just as I'd feared) when it comes out of the ultra-tiny speaker on the unit, it sounds far from perfect. It gets one-half star for being small, and flesh colored. It gets another half-star for being a brilliant idea! When I finally got mine working, the can top sound was pretty good, so I'll give it another star for that alone, but the bottle cap sound was kinda pathetic. These are cheap, admittedly, so I guess it's not a total loss, and when I feel like digging out my micro screwdriver again, I'll dive back into it. If you're looking for perfection, please look elsewhere.
