The packaging says this might be the most genius way to change a piece of paper to a bill. While they may be correct about the actual mechanics, there are major drawbacks to this method.
You can’t let the audience examine the paper, or the bill. The magic moment looks like you are shaking a gimmick out, not like magic. The gimmick is very fragile, and not easy to fix or make.
I would normally say something like this might be good as a TV trick, but there are so many better TV tricks for the same price.
The DVD is 15 minutes long, and they teach it about five times too many to fill that run time.
As interesting as the construction of the gimmick is, I’m not convinced this is practical for real world use.
