This leather attaché is made to our exact specifications in soft, premium black leather. It holds a pack of cards, a pad of paper, and a collapsible Zebra pen. Cardfolio zips closed for privacy and exhibits your business card in a front-load window. Finally, you have a way to practice, experiment, invent, and REMEMBER your ideas.
The Zebra pen included in Cardfolio took us ages to locate, and it’s just the kind of pen a magician should write with. It’s an attractive black and silver pen that expands to reveal its ballpoint. This gadget-pen is heavy and just the sort of pen your best ideas deserve to be documented with.
Cardfolio is obviously for the close-up magician who thinks seriously and critically about his own work. We designed Cardfolio with care, and with our own usage in mind. This item has been produced in a limited edition.

Let me just say it before someone else does. I clearly have an affinity for carrying cases. Why else would I review not only the Pro Carrier, but also Assassin's Pouch and, now, the Cardfolio?
The Carfolio, unlike the others, is not intended for use during a performance. Instead it's for everyday practice and research. The pad of paper and nifty collapsable pen are there so you can take notes or jot down inspired ideas, and the cards are there for, well, you know why. You carry a deck of cards with you at all times, right?
As a daily companion, the Cardfolio is a bit large. Too large to fit in a pocket. The case is constructed of nice, soft leather edged with black nylon and an inexpensive zipper. A zipper that doesn't close all the way, so it's a good thing the pen inside has a strap keeping it in place. You can wedge two decks inside, thanks to the flexibility of the nylon, but then the gap left by the zipper is even larger. On the other hand, the gap is an artifact of a design accommodation that allows the case to lay flat when open, so you can more easily write on the notepad. Which just proves the adage "Damned if you do, damned if you don't."
The Cardfolio holds a 2.5" x 4" notepad. It's not an easy task to find replacement notepads that fit—I haven't managed to do so—but when you use up the one that's included you'll find the pocket for it will also hold half-sized index cards, or a packet trick, if you must.
The bottom line is that if Cardfolio appeals to you, you'll probably like it. I think it also makes a thoughtful gift for a magician friend, so if you don't buy one for yourself, get one for a buddy.
