This is a beautiful rendition of the classic ball and vase. It is the same size as the plastic toy version (available at most dollar stores), this is the perfect size. The vase, lid, and shell have a good solid weight to them. They are finished flawlessly in gold plating.

Unfortunately the ball is hollow and very light weight. It might be made of plastic, it's hard to tell. The shell and the lid have a loose fit, it would have been nice it the fit was a little more secure.
Also, be aware that you will only receive one ball, for this price an extra ball should have been included. Many professional routines, like Michael Skinner's, use two or three balls.

Possibly the most beautiful mini ball & vase I have ever seen. Precision made, 24K gold plated and of the highest quality possible. The only problem I had with this one is the hollow ball that it comes with. Personally, if I had gone through all of the trouble to produce such a beautiful vase, I think I would have included a ball bearing or something more appropriate.
