Bob Kohler's Black Envelope
This a slick little effect. Magicians will enjoy it greatly. Card guys will be in heaven.
The general lay public will not find this trick anymore amazing than card in wallet, or card under glass, etc.
I believe that this is more of a magician's trick than a trick for the lay public. You will fool them with it, but it just won't be any slicker than many similar card to impossible location tricks.
The DVD fully explains the trick(s). A few different handlings are explained that will allow everyone from the fumbling beginner to advanced the knuckle-buster to enjoy.
It comes with enough black envelopes to get you started, after that you will either have to order more, make them yourself, or come up with an alternate idea.
Everything is quality. It will only be your personal taste and performing style that will be the final decision on how much you like it. I only give it 3 stars because I do not believe any new ground is really covered here. It is simply repackaging an old trick in a new wrapper. Nicely done, but probably more interesting to the hard core card slingers than the general magic populace.
