Fart-Toon

Perhaps the most tasteless card trick ever invented. Instead of picking the card out of a hat or a flurry of cards shot from a cannon, our hero, the stickman, eats a taco. Once the appropriate "forces" have gone to work, he--you guessed it--expels out a cloud of gas inside which appears the selection. Use at your own risk.

Overview

This is a fun, funny and impressive trick in which the spectator names any card. Then, the backs of the cards are shown and riffled entire deck is riffled to show a stick man and with each card that is shuffled, the stick man moves. Its like those movie flip books. The stick man is seen to eat a taco and then fart and in the cloud is a graphic of the named card with the number and a picture of the suit.

This will not fool a magician or sophisticated magic consumer, but will really get some good laughs going for anyone.

This is a take off of its' predecessor card-toon. This is just a bit edgier.

Effect

As explained above, the spectator names a card, and the stick man that is printed on the card back farts an image of the freely named card. No force whatsoever and any card can be selected.

Method

A specially printed deck and some minimal card movements (not even sleight of hand) are needed to make this work. Easy peasy!

Product Quality

The deck is a decent quality, but it is not a deck of Bikes. I guess that doesn't matter since there are stick men printed on each card and no one will think it is the same deck that has been in play during walk around or a short performance.

Ad Copy Integrity

All accurate - see below:

A card is freely named aloud by your spectator. You display a deck of cards, showing all the cards in new deck order.

On the backs of the cards, you show a stick figure magician, and explain that he's going to reveal the chosen card. Riffling the deck like a flipbook, the stick figure eats a taco supreme (with extra hot sauce!), which doesn't seem to agree with him too well. The stick figure emits a gaseous cloud from his rear end, with the selected card revealed among the toxic fumes!

From the minds of Dan Harlan, creator of the original Card-Toon, and Dan Alexander.

Final Thoughts

This is perfect for walk around, restaurants and for amusing your friends.

I wasn't sure about this when I got it. I worked it in a bar room and it went over huge. I tend to stay away from this type of humor but this one is good to have in your bag.
