Overview

Although this is not a new concept and I knew what it was before opening the package, I think that this is a great adaptation of a great concept. I have other products which use this same method and this is a great take on something I have used before.

Sometimes a fresh coat of paint (sorry for the cheesy pun) makes an old effect super. This applies to this mentalism effect.

Effect

The magician shows the spectator 4 paint color cards with 15 colors on the back of each. The spectator focuses on one color and keeps her selection in her mind. She doesn't say a word.

After the magician asks the spectator to look at each card one at a time and indicates whether or not the color is on the front of the card (there are 8 colors on the front of each card). After a second the performer is able to divine the color immediately.

Method

The method, as stated above, is not a new one, but it is easy to learn and easy to perform. Some more extensive versions of this require the perform to do some simple mental math. Any kid magician aged 12 can perform this trick so do not be worried.

Product Quality

The quality of the 4 cards is excellent. The instructions are written and very clear and easy to follow. No complaints here!

Ad Copy Integrity

Well, it is a bit sparse...here it is (and it is accurate and free of any need for criticism):

A fresh, organic approach to a classic principle.

Your participant freely chooses a color from a paint sample card and you read their mind. No hard work or difficult moves required. It's super easy to do!

"Mental Colour" by Spooky Nyman is the perfect way for a modern performer to present classic mentalism.
