Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? Now you can!

"Wait rewind that! I need you to show me that again!"
- Tom Elderfield

"Genius new method."
- Patrick Kun

"A pocket-sized DeLorean, this is dope."
- Calen Morelli

A spectator picks a date and time and commits it to memory. They then watch the locked screen of an iPhone closely.

They begin to see the time on the locked screen tick back, slowly at first. It then starts to speed up, getting faster and faster. Days, months, hours, and minutes fly past in a blur -- then it begins to slow, finally stopping on their thought-of date and time. NO APPS used in this effect. No funny moves. No complicated procedure. Beau has also created a method to perform a version of this effect on the SPECTATOR'S PHONE!

First I need to acknowledge that this is an “old” product. Normally that wouldn’t matter but this product was created for iPhone models that were retired many years ago.

So there’s some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that, unless you have an iPhone running iOS 11 or earlier (not Android, but keep reading), this isn’t going to work “out of the box.”

Actually, there’s some “bad” news even if you’re running an older iOS version: there’s still a decent amount of “work” to be done to get the effect operational. I won’t give away the secret, but it’s akin to “arts and crafts,” but using a computer. The instructions are incredibly detailed and easy to follow, even if you’re not a “computer person.” But it’s still going to take work.

But it’s that very issue that also leads us to the good news…

If you’ve got some skills with basic computer software, or are willing to watch a few YouTube videos to learn, I think this effect could be done on almost any modern mobile phone… including those running on Android.

Again, it’ll take some additional time and effort. But if this effect calls you, it may be worth it.
