Based upon Robert Harbin's "Dippy magnet", Okito's Choice is an excellent close up effect and a nice and original collector's item too.

Effect:

Card is freely chosen - shuffled into pack - a little bust of Okito with a key chain attached to it is removed from a transparent container. Six cards are dealt from the top of the pack on to the close up mat. You dangle the bust over the cards holding it from the chain, the chooser holds your wrist and concentrates. When the bust touches the chosen card, IT LIFTS IT UP.

The card and Okito's bust can be handed for immediate examination and the spectator has no clue how the magic happened, because in his hands Okito does not pick up the card anymore.

Easy to do

You receive an original and exclusive bust of Okito (2 inches tall) with the key chain, a transparent container and a special gimmick to be performed hundreds of times.

Overview

This trick is not new and in fact this version is long discontinued. It originally sold for $35. It is an ok trick because the method is not as clean as you would expect.

The little bust of Okito on a key chain is really nice. I guess this trick is ok, just not something I would ever perform.

Effect

A selected card is lost in the deck. A small handful of cards are dealt onto a close up mat and a small bust of Okito on a keychain is placed on every card and only the selected card sticks to Okito and can be handed out for inspection.

Method

The method is tipped below in eth ad copy by referencing the "Dippy magnet". Obviously, this cannot be done without a secret magnet, but if you want to know more, you will have to do some digging.

Product Quality

The quality of the Okito bust is very good. The containers used are also very good. This comes with one page written instruction in Spanish and English. The trick is easy to learn and perform, but I do not agree that the card can always be handed out because there is some residue that may attract some attention. The residue can also cause a mess on certain surfaces, which I a main reason I don't love this trick.

Ad Copy Integrity

The ad copy is below - just be careful that you cannot always hand out the chosen card without a quick wipe of the face.
