David Hoy was a mind reader. He played it for real. He told people he could read minds, and he did.

This book contains quite a few ideas and routines that have become classics in the mentalism world. Hurling the Headlines is a way to make a large group of generalized predictions, but create the memory for the audience that you were dead on in your predictions (once they come to pass)

Hoy's Tossed-Out Deck is a STANDARD for mentalists, as it teaches audience management, big effect from small props, and helping the audience interpret what they believe happened from what actually took place.

My favorite however is Hoy's book test. Completely impromptu, any 2 books, and about 5 minutes worth of mind reading. I have used this book test at least 15 times, and it never fails to leave the audience open mouthed and badly fooled.

This book costs very little, but has a HUGE amount of material contained within it. Buy it, and study it.
