Unlink is not an effect... it's a TOOL for every magician! The Unlink gimmick is very versatile and it's different from what you can find in the market (Twizted by Eric Jones, Shin Lim vanishing card,...). Here you have (for example) a freely selected card that is signed and placed in between two other cards. The signature is VISIBLE until the vanish and then you can make it appear in your back pocket !
- Endless possibilities
- Cards can be SIGNED and visible until the vanish
- Handmade gimmick
- DVD instruction with 7 angles to follow easily the explanations

PROS
This is a very nice utility device to make a sandwich card appear or disappear.
The gimmick is well made. It is also very versatile as it can be used with any card in the deck. The gimmick does have a limitation described in the “Cons” section.
The instruction is adequate. The entire instruction has just background music and subtitles. However, it is well demonstrated and the subtitles work.
He teaches several good effects with the gimmick.
He also does a really good job of teaching some moves like the half pass and a few others that he uses in the effects taught on the DVD.
CONS
In the DVD, he uses a gimmick built into a joker. My gimmick was built into a Queen. I would have preferred that it be part of the joker as it makes more sense to take the jokers out of the deck to do other effects. However, he does include material to make your own gimmick.
This gimmick does not lend itself well to close-up magic for every effect. The audience would likely see something they shouldn’t see. However, it would be good for parlor magic where the audience is several feet away. Some of the effects would likely be ok in a close-up situation.
VERDICT
Not a bad idea, and it should work well in a parlor setting with the audience a few feet away, and with some of the effects in a close-up situation.
