This is yet ANOTHER product that I'm 50/50 on.
The handling of the tearing process looks incredibly pinky and the performer looks like he's hiding something, because he is.
The restorations all look the same as all other piece by piece torn and restored cards to me. The FINAL restoration IS very clean, and very clever, but very knack to construct the gimmick that makes it possible.
The DVD is shot well enough, and the teaching is clear for the most part. I did not follow along with cards in hand, but I was able to follow each step and nothing seemed too unclear. However, most of the DVD is not speaking, with really dramatic music looped over the teaching, which got old REAL fast.
To be 100% honest, I've never been a fan of these piece by piece restorations. They've always been insanely angle sensitive, and not real world friendly. And in my opinion, if you spend more time folding the card, than tearing the card, I'm not on board.
However, I know a lot of guys out there collect these methods, and that's 100% a-ok. If you collect these methods, this is a worthwhile addition to add to your collection. If you are a real world worker, you might get an idea or two from here, but I'd suggest you spend a lot of time working on something like this to make it look clean.
