I am learning that I enjoy a good podcast. I listen to them a great deal when I travel. That's why I was a little pleased to receive this CD when I had a long travel day.

I played it on my iPod and then sat back and enjoyed a very good discussion on how to perform. The CD is not teaching you tricks, it is teaching you how to perform properly on stage.

The pacing on the CD was great, time flew by as I listened to Bob talk through various subjects like premise of the presentation and consistency of character.

The CD also includes various lecture notes/tricks that he talks about during the CD. I like that it would be very difficult to mimic his presentation since you don't get to watch him do it like you would on a DVD. However, what you do get is an opportunity to develop your own presentation style based on his in depth analysis of his tricks and how to perform them. I really like this as it keeps people from becoming performing monkeys and makes you really think about how you want to perform something.

I fear that since this is not a "watch me now do it just like me" DVD, that it will be overlooked. There are very powerful ideas and instructions on how to become a professional entertainer on this CD. Don't miss it.
