Effect
You take some forks and ask a spectator to hold one on his hands. You instruct the spectator to gently rub the fork and imagine it getting soft, like rubber. Slowly, the fork bends over until it is almost bent in half on your spectators hands. This is a remarkable experience that your audience will remember forever. It can be fully examined, there's nothing to find out. A true miracle.

Please note: Phork is a major breakthrough as the fork will remain straight and will bend ONLY when touched, there's no need for Phork to be constantly kept at extremely low temperatures. If the room temperature is not high, Phork will not bend.

The ideal of Phork is that after performing the traditional spoon bending routines, you can hand this one to a spectator and in a very hands off way have them bend the item in their hands by simply rubbing it lightly. Needless to say this could be very strong.
So what do I think of it? Well, my phork did not bend totally straight. When placed on the table, after cooling, and looking at it, it simply did not look great. It still had a kink or strange little bend in it. But it could be that I am being too picky. Most likely you would hide this Phork among a whole plate of silver wear in which I think it would be more likely to blend it and go unnoticed.
Next, it will need to be prepared and then placed in a cooler or cooler bag to keep at a lower temperature. If submitted to room temperature, even just laying on the table, it will eventually slowly bend back to its “original bent shape”. This could be a problem when doing a live show. You must keep in mind that the Phork needs to be cool or cold until time to do the bit. If you are traveling on the road or going to a gig across town, you will have to prepare the Phork just prior to the show and then either do it in the beginning of your show, or have a way to keep it cool until the proper time in your show. I have not timed it exactly, but it did return to its original shape while sitting on my desk within about an hour. I am sure under the hot lights of a stage, this would be even faster.
It does work. I played with it and it does react properly. Would I put it in my show? I am not sure. One, if someone bends a fork with their mind, they will most likely want to keep that fork for themselves. I am sure you could work around this but it would be something that you would want to consider before you put this in your show. Two, the preshow preparation could be a bit cumbersome. Not, undoable, but it would be a challenge and would take some forethought. Three, this will take some practice and thought. Why? Well, the blocking and timing is important or the bending could look suspect.
As far as the unintellectual properly rights, I can not comment. I do not know enough about this concept over the years. The DVD that came with this effect was poor at best.
The price is high, if you are looking for a toy to play with, move on. If you would really want to have the spectator bend a fork with their mind in their hand, this could work. I don’t think I would put it in my show, however, for special situations, I think you could have a very strong piece of mentalism here.
