The gimmick is basically a key fob that you can add to your key ring. It's extremely portable.
The spectator makes a truly free choice of where they want to stick any of the three items that are on the table. A coin, a card or a bill. The card can be a credit card or a playing card or a post card, any type of card. The bill is either money or a restaurant bill. The coin is ... well.. a coin. They can all belong to the spectator.
The key ring is on display the whole time.
It does not matter where each of the objects end up. The gimmick will guarantee that the prediction is 100% accurate every time. Different outcomes are all equally strong.
The gimmick is ingenious. It is a little sealed plastic holder that contains a written prediction that reads: I have committed myself. The coin is ..., the bill is.. and the card is ...
I own Free Will, Will to read and Fair Play. Fair play is my favourite.

This handy little gimmick is perfect for those times when you need a relatively impromptu effect to perform when someone asks you to "show" them something. It is well made and the mechanism is just as mysterious as the effect. I have been using Fair Play quite a bit with great spectator reaction ever since I received it.
The video instruction is clear and and the method is easy to execute. It will not take long to get this trick down. I read another review on this product and I must disagree with the reviewer on the keytags size. It is not that big at all. I used to carry a photo keychain a few years ago that was much bigger and bulkier that the Fair Play gimmick.
I have been performing mentalism for more that twenty five years and have purchased a ton of gimmicked props over those years but none match up with this effect in it's fairness and quality workmanship.
Three readily available items are used (a coin, a card and a bill) while your photo keytag is in plain view the whole time. The revelation seems incredible. I highly recommend this effect.

REVIEW
WOW! This is really superb! The gimmick is extremely well made. It is also something that really makes sense. It looks like a keychain photo holder that you have put a small note in, instead of a photo. So natural!
CAUTION
The only caution I would have is I suggest you use the protective sleeve it comes in to keep it from falling out accidentally or scratching against your keys. It is very sturdy, and it doesn't seem like it would fall out easily, but it is such a nice prop, I think it would make sense to take care of it.
You don't have a choice of the three items, but there is no need to change them. A coin, a card, and a bill work perfectly fine anywhere in the world (in English that is). The only one that might change from place to place is "bill", but in many parts of the world, what the US calls a receipt, some countries call a "bill". So, I don't think this is a problem. While there are versions for other countries, I heard of a UK dealer who uses the American version with no problem.

Suggestions
I like to think through every routine logically. With this prop, I think it is best to use a routine that deals with mind control, rather than "I made a prediction earlier today". The reason is it doesn't make sense to have something locked into your keychain if it is a temporary prediction. It makes more sense that you have the same note in your keychain and you are going to try to use mind control.(Top ▲)
Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: The Ocean by Led Zeppelin
Paul Harris Presents Fair Play by Steve Haynes Review
One DVD, one super clever self-working gimmick and $40 bucks. Is it gem or is it rubble? Stay tuned to find out.
Effect
Three objects (card, coin, bill) are borrowed. Spectator makes three free choices (keeps one, gives you one, puts one in her pocket). The spectator then reads the prediction that has been on the table from the beginning which clearly predicts the location of all three objects. There are no forces and no switches. The effect really is that clean.
Method
This effects is accomplished by a very clever self-working gimmick that you can carry with you on your key chain. The gimmick automatically adjusts to the correct prediction based on how you handle the gimmick. It's very simple to use and requires almost no thinking on your part. Further, it resets almost instantly. This really is a no-brainer method that anyone can do and is within the grasp of all skill levels. You have to be able to read, but that's really it.
Ad Copy Integrity
The ad copy is solid. It is as fair as they say. The only thing that I feel needs some clarification is the 100% examinable claim. On the video trailer they say "100% Examinable." However, on the written ad copy they say "The keychain [sic] prediction can be completely examined!" That's closer to reality. Watch the demo. Once the inner plastic is removed from the outer plastic, the inner plastic is 99.99999999999% examinable. If they happen to bang it on the table — but why would they — they might see "something."
The video trailer also shows the spectator removing the inner plastic from the outer plastic. That cannot be done every time, and even the time that it can be done, you have to be careful to make sure that they do it correctly. The proper removal of the inner plastic is what ensures that the prediction is correct. If it is removed incorrectly, the prediction will be wrong.
Just keep in mind, however, that they can hold the entire gimmick before the routine starts (as long as they don't read it). You can then (after their choices have been made) remove the inner plastic very cleanly and openly with no switches and right in front of them. They can then read the prediction. No funny moves whatsoever.
Product Quality
The DVD is relatively well produced. There were a few lighting issues here and there, but all in all it was fine. The gimmick itself is excellent. It's a good solid plastic that will last a long time. There was, however, a weird section on the DVD called "Care and Feeding" of your gimmick. It was a 10 second segment of Bro Gilbert saying that there's really nothing you need to do. Weird. What was the point of that?
Final Thoughts
If you like the effect, then this is a no-brainer. I've never seen a method easier and more doable for this effect. You just have to have this with you on your key chain and you can do it anywhere with no other props on you. You just need a bill (paper money) a coin and a card (business or otherwise — just a card). If you can borrow those items, you can do this effect. This is one of the best products I've reviewed in a while.
Final Verdict:
5 Stars with a Stone Status of GEM!

Just once, I would like the opportunity to trash a Paul Harris Presents item. Not because I really want to. Paul has been a friend for over 20 years and has been instrumental in some of the major changes in my life. But I thrive on variety and, quite frankly, I sound like a broken record every time I review a product that comes out under his name.
But, dammit, they’re always so great!
Fair Play is no exception. It has everything you’re used to in a PHP offering. Executive quality. Clear teaching. A powerful, straightforward (one could say “astonishing”) effect. And, as always, they’ve though of everything. It’s built to be a real “worker.”
Honestly, this is one of the first times where I’ve played with the gimmick and still don’t completely know how it works internally. I’ve got engineering decrees and a workshop that would make most schools jealous. But this one has me kinda stumped.
I also love that it’s totally portable and ready-to-go on a moment’s notice. You carry the gimmick around on your keychain. To perform it, you just need three common objects: a bill (any denomination or currency), a card (business card, playing card, greeting card, etc.) and a coin (also any denomination or currency).
I’ve seen a lot of versions of the “3 Objects in 3 Locations” premise in the last five or ten years. I’ve worked with several of them. But this is, by far, the most straightforward and practical one I’ve ever come across.

Pros:
I received this gimmick and have performed it several times now with very good results.
It does seem pricy, but it is very well made and reliable. This effect is exactly as described and shown on the promo video.
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/4890
It's a great improvement for this effect. There is no need for a force, no sleight of hand needed. The gimmick delivers the needed outs with almost zero effort.
The gimmick allows you to concentrate on your presentation as your spectator can hold the gimmick during the presentation.
There is nothing to switch or ditch and everything can be handled and examined. There is nothing to find. The DVD is very good quality and everything is very well explained.
You'll be performing this in minutes after viewing the video, you don't really need to practice much at all.
Cons:
You can not customize or use other objects.
You need good lighting, not a bar trick
Fast trick, but with correct presentation can be extended.
A bit pricy, but in my opinion well worth the price tag.
Overall:
If you like prop magic that actually works, you'll love this very ingenious and well made prop. It will last for a very long time if you take care of it. This product delivers and gets my very rare 5 star rating. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
