The new Perfect Pen will do everything that the original does, but with these added features: Only one pen is used. The spectator may write with the pen. Nothing is added or taken away to achieve the illusion. The pen is totally examinable before and after the effect and is precision made of chrome and gold-colored plating. The spectator actually sees the ripped piece of the bill when the pen is pushed through.

The main problem with this trick is that every magician who owns one USES it! I own 3, one in each closeup case. When you penetrate a bill, the torn part of the bill is actually seen. No other penetration pen has this feature. Think about it. If you actually stabbed through a bill wouldn't the torn center show on the opposite side?

I tend to use a chosen card rather than a bank note, but it makes no difference. What I like most about this pen is that it really is totally examinable before and after the effect, unlike other cheaper versions.

I have had people guess how it's done but when I ask them "but didn't I give you the pen to use", the trick becomes even stronger.

It's the best $50 I've spent in a long time.
