Effect/Method/Ad Copy Integrity
This can be better described in terms of what it can do rather than effect or method. What you're purchasing is an extremely clever gimmick that allows you to, very easily and secretly, extract a signed card from the deck and load it anywhere you want.
The gimmick does the majority of the work. You can have the spectator place the selected card into the card box (while you hold the card box) in the middle of the deck, yet you still (instantly) have access to the card. You can simply use the extractor to get the identity of the card, or you can get the card and load it somewhere.
Take a look at the video trailer. That effect happened in real time. There were no tricky edits or cuts to conceal the method. Everything happened on camera. That's one of the many effects possible with this gimmick. You can have a signed card end up in a sealed deck of cards in new deck order with the signed card in the correct position in the deck. It's almost instantaneous, and the gimmick is super easy to use. This is very practical. You just need to carry around your normal deck and the extractor deck. The whole "system" (if you will) is very cleverly designed to make this concept 100% invisible to the spectator and extremely easy to perform.
You get two DVDs. The first one has the original Extractor (version 1) footage with all the effects originally taught. The second DVD has a handful of bonus effects you can do. The original Extractor was affixed to the card box. Eventually the card box would wear out and you'd have to do an arts and crafts project to put the Extractor gimmick in a new box. This problem has been completely eliminated with the new Extractor (V2 E2). The new version comes in and out of the box with ease, so you can use it in any box.
However, for those who may have the old version of the gimmick, there's a section on the second DVD that shows you how to do the arts and crafts project to get your gimmick into another box.
There are several card to impossible location effects taught plus a few mentalism applications. Keep in mind that what you're really getting is the ability to extract and/or peek a card that has been placed back into the boxed deck by the spectator. This added element makes all the impossible location effects even more impossible seeming.
Again watch the ad trailer. It's that clean. Speaking of the ad trailer, we might as well cover ad copy integrity while we're here. In a nutshell: it's 100% solid. The written ad copy is understating the value if anything. The ad trailer, as already mentioned, is 100% accurate.
Product Quality
The DVDs are well produced and truly cover everything you can imagine about this gimmick. The teaching is very well done, and you will easily learn everything you need to know to use this gimmick. The gimmick itself is very well made and works great. Based on the construction and the way it's used, I would say that this thing will last you several years, easily.
Final Thoughts
The effects possible with this gimmick are infinite. It's up to you and your creativity. However, even if you have no creativity, you're covered. The DVDs have tons of routines. If you're looking for an invisible way to get a card out of a deck — a card that was placed in the boxed deck by the spectator — nearly instantly and invisibly, then this is the product you're looking for. If you're a mentalist, there are several applications for you as well. Several mentalism ideas were covered on the first DVD.
When you consider everything that you're getting (a powerful utility device that gives you instant access to a signed card along with tons of routines), $80 bucks is a reasonable asking price.

Extractor E2 is a fabulous invisible magic maker. The barebones, the spectator pushes his or her signed crd into the very middle of a deck of cards that is already in the card box. Once in, the flap is closed and the deck is put away in the magician's jacket pocket. No sooner than that is done, the magician can show both hands completely empty, reach into his trouser pocket and produce one card or even let the spectator take the card from the pocket It is the spectator's signed card.
It is just that fast. It is just that clean. It is just that good. The Extractor does most of the work for you and the card is handled entirely by the spectator himself. The Extractor is easy to use and is an amazing piece of craftmanship. Even though intricate, it seems like it will endure lots of use.
The DVD is well prepared and features both a performance, a detailed explanation of how to use the Extractor, and a number of ideas that can be explored using the Extractor to create miracles.
As with much amazing magic, there is a point of deception where the magician's ability to remain calm, cool and nonchalant makes all of the difference. It is brief but critical to this being an absolutely inexplicable miracle. When done right, it appears that the magician never goes anywhere near his trouser pocket.
The magician is light years ahead of the audience at the point of deception because the spectator himself has signed the card and personally pushed it into the center of a deck that is already in its box. Once the lid is closed, the heat is totally off of the deck.
I've just described one effect that is featured on the DVD. The beauty of Extractor is that it can be used to accomplish many mysteries. As they say, your imagination is the only limit for this miracle maker of an apparatus. Signed card to wallet, to impossible location - whatever your taste, the Extractor will give you the card under impossible conditions.
