What if your in-the-hands riffle shuffle was a perfect Faro? What could you accomplish? Joseph Barry knows the full potential of this incredible feat..

In nearly an hour of teaching, Daniel Madison and Joe Barry discuss the mechanics, psychology, finger placements, nuances, tricks, tips, advice and possibilities of the perfect in-the-hands riffle shuffle.

Not since the advent of the Anti-Faro has a perfectly normal way of handling a deck of cards (a shuffle) been so changing to the world of card magic.

The perfect riffle shuffle accomplishes the same as a perfect 1-for-1 Faro, but done casually, without looking at the deck - and completely unnoticed as anything other than a standard shuffle - because that's all it is. A Standard shuffle. Just done perfectly. Every time.

Joe reveals three of his favorite effects using the Perfect Riffle Shuffle - an impossible 4 Ace location taking inspiration from Scarne (this is worth the price of the download alone - 4 aces are located with ease in a clearly cut and shuffled deck), a perfect order 'false' shuffle and a chosen card revealed in shuffled deck effect that is impossible to reverse-engineer.

A comprehensive credits and further thoughts/studies list is also supplied. This is the absolute, ultimate - and only guide to Joe Barry's Perfect In-the-hands Shuffle that will have magicians and spectators alike thinking you're one of the greatest sleight of hand artists in the world, all thanks to one little shuffle.

This is a great move, but it's kind of like the 90 mile an hour fast ball in baseball. Only a few people can do it at any moment in time. It is a very difficult move and with Joseph's help the move is still incredibly difficult to do. It's going to take years of deliberate practice to get down.

That said the teaching and the technique involved really help. In just about a week I have been able to improve my shuffle and can often get over half of the deck perfectly. The instruction isn't as in depth as you might expect from a move of this caliber. I have bumped into a couple problems and formed a couple questions that weren't solved or answered in the download but with the amount of improvement that just the technique provided I trust that with time I can master this.

There are really only 2 routines taught with an incredible display of skill. The bulk of the download concentrates on Joseph's thoughts about Marlo's estimation aces. You don't really need to know any type of a perfect shuffle to apply many of the principles Joseph talks about and you will get something out of this section regardless of your level of ability with cards.

If you are able to master it you will have a lethal weapon in your arsenal. This handling also has the added bonus of being in the hands.

So this is a great move with fair instruction. I'm giving it 3 stars because most people are never going to be able to do this move with or without the download and the teaching could have been a bit more in depth. That said if this is the type of move you want to do get ready to put some time into it.
