Brainless Travellers - The routine James wanted to keep to himself! Two piles of ten cards... the spectator merely THINKS of a card from one of the piles... it immediately vanishes from this pile...only nine remain...the second pile is counted...there are eleven...the thought of card is shown to have travelled across...But Wait... another spectator thought of a different card...NO PROBLEM! With just a click of the fingers and without even touching the pile... the piles are counted (by the spectators) and one pile now contains only eight cards and the other twelve! The second card has now travelled across!

I agree with the previous reviewer. Good material, well presented. Some of the explanations are taped at lectures and the quality is less than the best but still more than good enough to learn from.
The reviewer said that some of the material requires guts. That is the beauty of this DVD. Magicians sometimes get so worried about details that they forget that if you hit the audience with something surprising, you can be daring. This material all works and reteaches those who have become tight or reticent, the fun and power of daring. Doing this material has reenergized much of the rest of my material. A lesson I needed to be reminded of and from what I see at many magic club meetings, a lesson others need as well.
The title effect, "Fancy a Pot of Jam" is illogical and silly and a winner with audiences. I use a pot of honey because I've come up with better lines for it. But he idea is weird, wonderful and effective.

I loved the DVD. In my opinion, Band Up! is with the price of the entire DVD...The others sometimes take guts and misdirection, but they're great...Highly recommended!
