When I was unpacking the latest shipment from MLA HQ, I pulled out this pack of playing cards. I thought to myself “how do I review a pack of playing cards?” My wife spotted the stack with the pack of Titans on top and asked “how will you review a deck of cards?” The more I thought about the challenge, the more I believe it comes down to two criteria: quality of workmanship and out of the box handling.

The Titan pack is a well made deck of cards. The printing and manufacturing is solid. There are no off center or out of square printing errors that you see on some USPC decks. The deck shuffled well, fanned well and faroed fairly well. They won’t require too much break-in.

For the card collectors, the back design has elements of classic architecture. The faces are standard with the exception of the Jokers and the Ace of Spades. The former are highly stylized columns. The latter is what I believe to be Pegasus with its wings touching to form the Spade. You also receive one blank face and one double facer.

The price point for the deck is market for special edition decks. If the design appeals to you and you want something different for your card magic, then check out a pack of Titans.
