Psychokinetic Silverware

Gerry & Banachek

Murphy's Magic

(Based on 1 review)
If you really could bend metal with your mind, Psychokinetic Silverware is exactly how it would look. You’ll see cold, hard steel melt like butter–bending, twisting, breaking and moving seemingly on its own, even in a spectator’s hand.

Banachek’s metal bending is so amazing and so realistic that he has often been accused of being and doing “the real thing.” In fact, after studying Banachek’s metal bending the McDonnell Laboratory for Psychic Research proudly announced to the scientific community that they had discovered someone with genuine psychic abilities. The National Inquirer and other media have also heralded Banachek’s psychokinetic talents.

On this videotape, Gerry and Banachek finally reveal the real secrets to these amazing routines. Not only will you get to see how everything looks in performance, you’ll also learn the real inside work, the fine points and psychology of metal bending. These are secrets which have have been very tightly guarded...until now.

Approximate Running Time: 75 Minutes

On Psychokinetic Silverware, Banacheck teaches you The Tine Bend, The Pivot Bend, The Rub Bend and The Break, all of which are essential techniques for anybody interested in this type of work.

The great thing about this DVD is that the techniques Banacheck teaches are not difficult to master. What will be difficult to master is the timing and misdirection needed to present these effects as if they were happening by magic. The challenge with this type of work is to create an atmosphere and presentation that will convince your audience, if only for a moment, that what they are witnessing is for real.

The material on PS is studiously presented. Banacheck’s explanations are clear and concise and his partner Gerry McCambridge plays the role of Devil’s Advocate, making sure that all the angles of these techniques are covered.

If you are looking for an essential work on bending silverware this DVD will provide you with all of the material you will need to be the next Uri Geller.

Well almost.

All that is missing from this DVD is a reason for presenting these effects.

If you are interested in adding mystery to your “bends”, might I suggest looking up some of Uri Geller’s clips on YouTube.com? Uri Geller, love him or hate him, was able to invest some importance into the bizarre notion of bending silverware.

Pros: Easy to master techniques, Concise instructions

Cons: Presentations lack depth of purpose and PIZZAZZ!
