Overview

The Sharpie Atomizer by Alan Wong is probably the most unusual “magic” product I was ever sent to review. The item itself is not magical at all, but it just may appeal to those “dyed in the wool” magicians who have to surround themselves with anything and everything that reflects their interest in magic.

Effect

The Sharpie Atomizer is exactly what it is stated to be, which is an atomizer shaped as a Sharpie Marker. Once filled with a liquid, you can remove the cap and instead of a marker nib, there is a push button atomizer head. As the ad states, you can fill it with water, alcohol, breath freshener or cologne.

Method

The refillable marker body holds a small amount of whatever it is you wish to use and the push button pump snaps right back on. Like any Sharpie, it has a clip that allows you to place it properly in your pocket. When I initially saw this, I guffawed and wondered who would ever want this? It dawned on me after mulling it over it would lend itself as a perfect prop for a comical interlude, especially if you just used a real Sharpie previously.

Product Quality

The product quality is good, as it does look exactly like a real Sharpie. It doesn’t carry much fluid and one wouldn’t expect it to. I cannot attest to the longevity of the pump mechanism being I just tested it for this review but for the asking price if it lasts a while it is worth it.
