Effect
You show a plastic member card from your Fitness Club to the audience and explain that you hate to go there. The card is inspected by the spectators and then instantly changes into a plastic coupon card for a fast food restaurant! When it changes back, the card can be reinspected again as the spectator will not find anything. Method
As described, the membership card changes into a fast food coupon and then ‘in the blink of an eye’ changes back. When I watched the demo I was pretty sure that I knew how it was done but also wished that I was wrong. Why? To me it seemed too obvious. I showed the video to my Wife who is not a Magician but is quite in tune with magical methods and she pretty well figured it out. It is a nice effect for the price but not strong enough to consider it a wow effect that will blow your spectators away - if that is what you are trying to do. It comes with a well produced DVD and the actual teaching tutorial is just under 5 minutes. There is no talking, just done to music with some text but that’s okay as it is very simple to learn - no crazy sleights involved.Product Quality
You will receive a plastic credit card sized membership card as well as a gimmick. Both are very well made and the printing is very clear and sharp. As it is made of plastic and the same sturdy thickness as a credit card, it will last forever. Ad Copy Integrity
This effect is described as: Easy to do, resets in seconds, highly visual magic, perform anytime! Well, all of that is true, all you have to do is supply your own wallet or get a wallet that has at least 2 credit card compartments - no big deal. However in the demo video at the moment the card changes, the video is sped up so you really cannot see the full effect at normal speed. It does not give the trick away but I feel does taint it's viability.Suggestions
I do feel that this is a nice stand-alone effect that would not be in my opinion memorable but good enough to add as filler or just something quick and visual you can do when someone asks you to do a magic trick.
