This is the next step in Card through window effects. Not just a single method, this is a whole book chock full of them. You can pass cards through windows in the day or night time. You can pass the card through, or just the corner. Signed cards, impromptu, car windows…it's all here. Below is a posting from a magic forum where Zach tried to be as clear as possible informing people as to what was contained in the book.

Ok, let me clear things up about Evolution...you are not getting one set gimmick or one set technique. Each different effect requires different things and different techniques.

For example, there are a couple of super-visual methods in the book. One can only be done at night. The others can be done in daylight, but have some restrictions. The night one has restrictions as well. The impromptu routine does have a visual penetration; however, it is not as visual as the ones depicted in the video. While that does read like the Ultimate Card Through Window, in my eyes it suffers from too many drawbacks to be that. I'm being honest here, as I don't want anyone to be disappointed when this comes out and they have built it up to be something higher than it is. In fact, my personal favorite in the book is this: You thumb a single face-down card onto the window. You place your hand over it, and rub it. At this point, it is clearly seen on your side of the window. A little more rubbing, and it passes right through the window. You can pause at this point, and then with a little more rubbing the card falls to the ground, on the outside of the window. That one was created by thinking of several things; one, I wanted to simplify the effect, and two, I always thought that if you were to put a card up to a window and make it pass through, it didn't make sense to have it stick to the other side...if it really did pass through, it would simply fall to the ground.

One of the main techniques in the book relies heavily on psychology on proper spectator management. These seemingly simple things can improve the effect a lot. The last point I'll touch on for right now...in the book, I go into detail about the proper way to use a stooge for these effects, if you so desire. Note that none of the effects in the book or in the video use stooges, in case some of you were worried. However, in some cases using a stooge can amplify your experience, and there are also ways to subtly make the spectator your stooge without them even knowing that they have helped you.

Lastly, the book closes with an explanation of my title effect, "Evolution". This to me is the best Card through Window in terms of practicality and visualness. The magician simply waves a hand over the card, and it instantly and visibly jumps to the other side of the window. At this point, everything can be examined.
