Martin Lewis has been performing his father Eric's Comedy Card Stab for many years. It has been a feature in his professional act. Now, it is available to you.

Freely show a deck of cards. Ask two spectators to each choose one card and show them to the audience. They then return the cards to the deck and the deck is shuffled. Bring out a large tray with a cork top. The cards are dealt face down onto the tray in a totally random manner. You are now blindfolded and the fun begins.

Remove a gleaming 12 inch stainless steel dagger from its leather sheath. Explain that through the sheer power of the mind, without being able to see anything, you will stab the cards, impaling one of the end of the knife. And, it will be the selected card. You stab wildly. Then, bring the knife up and run your fingers to the tip of the blade. "There's nothing there." "Practice try. Do over." Stab again, and this time as you bring the knife point into view, there is one card impaled on the tip. It is one of the selected cards. Stabbing once more, you bring the knife into view. At the same time, you remove the blindfold. There is one card on the knife, but it is the wrong card. Upon closer examination, you discover that you have actually stabbed two cards. Remove the two cards from the blade. The second stabbed card is the other selected card. Bow to tremendous applause.
