A jewel of molten glass is displayed, it's hardness tested with several blows from a wooden mallet. The performer now uses either his mind or the collective thought-waves of the audience to shatter the solid glass bead visually, while held at arms length encased in a simple transparent zip-seal baggy. The bead actually EXPLODES with a resounding 'pop', without any external mechanics, etc.
