Swing A Ring

U.F. Grant

(Based on 1 review)
A pure visible penetration! A ring comes off a shoelace in a most amazing manner! Steel ring is threaded on a black shoelace, then melts right off with a tug!! See it to believe it!!

Also a two ring routine included. Comes with shoelace, gimmick, and two 1-1/2 inch steel rings.

While I only use one ring for this trick, it has served me well. The version I received from Madhatter, invented by Grant, brought rings a bit thicker than I prefer. No problem, as a range can be found in any hardware store. The shoelace is tricky to find, even without the 'special something'. It's very easy to carry, the spectator gets to examine ring, and enough of the lace to be satisfied. Most people suspect the ring. I came up with my own routine, and still play around with new approaches to this effect. Trust me when I say that I have seen people's eyes pop open, that look and sound of 'what the...?'-all with one black shoelace, and one little steel ring. While there is only one sleight, if I can even call it that, presentation is critical. I saw a guy 'throw this away', because of moves that were too quick, and unbelieveable. It's like any trick that looks too easy, which is why I include enough times where it won't come off, as well as threading it/unthreading it normally. Great walk around, anytime mind tickler. (One lady friend watched it two, three times, inches from her eyes...and growled with mock frustration!) It also takes up less pocket space than a larger ring and rope.
