At any time, YES... ANY TIME during the act, the performer borrows a burning cigarette, which he asks the owner to sign or mark with a ballpoint pen. The cigarette, while still burning, is placed in the performer's hand and instantly vanishes! After some comedy byplay about cigarette smoking being unhealthy and the performer obviously doing the lender a favour, the magician points some distance away to a bottle inside which rests a beautiful Silver tube. The spectator is asked retrieve the bottle and hand it to the performer. The Silver tube is tipped out and attention is drawn to a fine hairline crack around its centre. The spectator is asked to unscrew the tube this takes some time, and when the tube is eventually opened, he finds inside and removes his own signed cigarette! Everything may be examined!
