Dear Boss

No Reviews Yet
After an evening of magic and illusions, the performer displays a letter which he states was recently purchased from a private collector. The performer goes on to explain that he doesn't believe the letter to be genuine but when he tried to contact the seller again they were not to be found.

The performer hands out the letter for inspection, asking that the handlers be very careful with it. Once examined, the performer places the letter in the center of the table for all to see. "Let’s have some fun. I want to see if we can get the spirit of Jack the Ripper to come into the room. Perhaps he will finally divulge who he really was. Let’s start by reading the letter." At this point the performer begins reading the letter, at first with his normal voice and regular pacing, but as he gets further into the body of the text, he starts to act strangely. He begins stumbling through the text and acting demented. As he continues the performer's voice adopts an English accent-has he become Jack the Ripper ?

As he gets to the end of the letter, the performer holds his hand up high for all to see-it's completely clean and shows no sign of any discoloration. As the performer reads the final few words-smack!, the performer slaps his hand down on top of the letter. He then turns over his hand to reveal a bloody handprint left on the letter! The audio and visual impact this has gets them every time. The letter may then be autographed by the performer and left with the evening’s host as a souvenir, if they can be found.
