The performer slowly counts three cards. One by one they are shown to each have the word Heart printed on them. Now the cards are given a twist and shown again. All three have mysteriously changed to the word Soul. Another twist and all three change to the word Mind. A final twist produces three cards each with a different word.
The spectators are sure you must have at least nine cards, but they may be handed out for examination, for there are only three.
