Everybody knows that plastic bags can be dangerous, and you explain, as you unfold this huge bag, that your assistant will escape from a sealed plastic bag. She makes her entrance, wearing a skimpy, prison-striped outfit, and with the aid of an audience volunteer, she steps into the bag. You and the volunteer then seal the top of the bag with ordinary paper masking tape. A large cloth is held in front of her, and you explain that she has only a limited time to get out, or she’ll expire. Suddenly, the cloth is dropped, and she stands on stage, free of the bag which is still sealed. Inside the bag is her costume, and she now wears a shorty bathrobe! The bag can be inspected before and after the effect, as there are no slits or traps.
