The Miracle Smoke Vase is a very old magical effect which utilises two chemicals. IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. However, like the Chinese Linking Rings it has stood the test of time. Since cigarettes are becoming unfashionable we supply you with a REALISTIC DUMMY CIGARETTE WHICH APPARENTLY PUFFS SMOKE (actually Talcum Powder) and is refillable. The effect is that a Candy Jar (available from most stores - we do NOT supply), is shown to be absolutely empty. A handkerchief is thrown over the jar after the lid has been placed on. The performer walks across to the other side of the stage and begins to puff smoke from his cigarette (dummy) towards the jar. He now walks across to the jar, removes the handkerchief and the jar is seen to be filled with smoke. The lid is removed and smoke pours out from the jar to prolonged applause!
If desired the effect may be performed with a large BRANDY GLASS AND A BEER MAT. Or alternatively, we give you a clever routine using TWO CANDY JARS wherein you commence the effect with BOTH LIDS ON THE JARS - this will fool the knowing ones. You may already know the chemical formulation used in this effect, BUT WE SUPPLY INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH chemicals, which ensures fast working and lots of smoke - you CANNOT obtain industrial strength chemicals via a normal chemist.
