The blade is chrome plated and it works like a card sword with an elastic cord flirting the spring flowers or silk to the top of the dagger. It could even be used as a card dagger with a little modification. The blade will pull out of the handle for easy replacement of the elastic and ease in packing. If desired a balloon can be inflated and then pierced with the sword - as the balloon bursts the flowers or silk appear on the end of the dagger.
