Originated by Derek Lever in 1980 for his own act this item has proved to be one of the funniest comedy items ever. Used by the late, great TOMMY COOPER in every show, he told us it was the funniest gag he had ever bought. The performer goes through a funny routine and finally produces a rubber dove. He states that he will make the dove vanish and goes over to a polished wooden box on the table. Taking off the lid he places the dove into the box, replacing the lid he steps forward and exp1ains to the audience how he intends to make the dove disappear. As he is talking there is a loud explosion and the entire box disintegrates and flies up into the air along with a cloud of FEATHERS and the DOVE which bounces around the stage. If your audience don’t laugh at that they must be DEAD. The box can be used over and over again. It is fired electronically by a timer and uses Miniature Size Stage Maroons.
