Another old electronic favourite which we have revived. Designed by David Howarth, this comes with a funny routine by Derek Lever and is suitable for adults or children. A nice wooden tray has a plinth and an elasticated holder attached to it. A balloon is inflated and placed into the holder and a spectator is invited to hold it. They are instructed NOT to touch the balloon in any way. You walk away and suddenly there is a loud BANG. The balloon has burst. You rush over to the spectator and admonish them for bursting the balloon. You inflate another balloon and place this in the holder. You begin to explain what is about to happen to the audience when BANG ... the balloon has burst again! This can be continued for as long as is desired and the audience will now be in stitches. Operated by a small transmitter the timing is under your complete control throughout.
