EFFECT: A handcrafted walnut tube is displayed, with an opening at one end. At the other end of the tube, about an inch from the top there are two holes, one on either side of the tube. A small decorative walnut cube that can be examined is displayed. The cube has a hole through its center that lines up with the holes in the tube. The walnut cube is placed inside the tube and then a brass magic wand is passed through the tube, impaling the cube inside. However, the magician can command the cube to magically penetrate through the rod while in the hands of the spectator.
