An incredible visual effect that ends with an impossible object!

With Split Prediciton, you will be able to perform a multi-phase routine that your audience will not forget because in the end the magic happens in their hands.

Split Prediction comes with everything you need (gimmick and special cards) and is ready to perform.

The effect can be presented in several ways, here is one of them:

The magician explains that he has made a prediction that is in the card case. Then 2 cards are chosen by one or two spectators. The magician presents his prediction and asks if it matches one of the chosen cards but no card matches.

At this point the trick seems to have failed, but the magician points out that if you mix the two chosen cards by taking the value of one card and the suit of the other card, it may match the prediction. As the explanation is not too convincing, the magician asks to look carefully at the prediction which he will magically separate into two halves of cards making the two chosen cards appear!

But it's not over, the two halves of the cards are put in the spectator's hand and after a magic gesture the pieces will be reconstituted to form an impossible card that can be immediately examined.

Overview

What do you get when you cross The Anniversary Waltz with the magician in trouble plot? You get Split Prediction by Anthony Stan and Massimo Cascione. Split Prediction is a cute multi-impact routine that requires some basic card handling and cleverly made gimmicks.

Effect

The magician says that he has made a prediction that is in the card case. Two cards are chosen by one or two spectators. The magician shows his prediction but it is wrong. Trying to wangle his way out of the error the magician points out that if you take the value of one card and the suit of the other card, it matches the prediction. Sensing the explanation is not convincing enough, he magically separates into two halves of cards making the two chosen cards appear. But it's not over, the two halves of the cards are put in the spectator's hand and the two pieces meld to form an impossible card that can be immediately examined.

Method

With cleverly made gimmicks and some basic card handling skills, this routine is cute and plays well. The phases flow from one to the other with a well constructed plot and a great finish that can leave the spectator with a souvenir of the magical moment.

Product Quality

What you receive in your package is a few specially printed cards that can be given away and two well made gimmicks. The gimmicks provided have eliminated all the issues that similar gimmicks have had in the past. The attention to detail is excellent and impressive. Often, you see hand made gimmicks assembled is a sloppy slip shod manor but these are as good as it gets. The downloadable video is forty minutes long and covers every aspect of the setup and handling. The creator apologizes for his English but it was extremely clear and the cadence was excellent. The cards provided are Bicycle card stock so there are no issues there. Refills are available in both red and blue backs and are fairly priced.

Ad Copy Integrity

The ad copy is excellent and downplays are well the whole package is actually delivered. All you need to provide is your own deck of cards.
